Ashe

Motus was a world bound to magic, but after the purge, everything collapsed. Centuries later, civilization is scattered, nature has reclaimed the cities, and magic's back in the form of Prismae Crystals. All it wants is to spread, and while some can use its power safely, others lose themselves to its pull and are taken over. So begins the Prismae Wars.

Long ago, in a time beyond all living memory, the existence of magic was swept away from the universe. Life moved on, but some worlds could not, and as years turned to decades and centuries, nature began to rebalance itself. Finally the time has come, and now magic is ready to make its return, though not in the form that anyone expects.

Ashe's retreat from her northern homeland was not due to any invasion, but the Prismae Crystals. In such a harsh environment, their power was difficult to resist, leading many to lose their minds and bodies to its magic. Forced to find shelter in the south, Ashe now gathers an army to take back her home from the monsters that overrun it.

Leona knows what caused the purge: blasphemy. Magic's disappearance was retribution for humanity's arrogance and misuse of it. As a worshipper of the Prismae Crystals, she believes it's her sacred duty to protect them. But she also prays to them in secret, hoping they'll bring back her lost love, Diana, who disappeared after journeying to the north.

When the Prismae Crystals began to appear, everyone on Motus reacted differently. Locked to their island, Taliyah's people viewed them not as a threat, but as an extension of nature. Now in symbiotic harmony with the crystals on their bodies, Taliyah's people are stronger than ever, and she ventures to the mainland to put her powers to the test.
