Every culture has their own folklore surrounding legends and monsters. Are these myths a figment of our imagination, stories passed down through generations to explain the unexplainable? Or are they based in a truth hidden from the rest of the world?

Occasionally, a valkyrie will be seduced by the comforts of mortal life, and be cast out from the halls of Valhalla. Understandably, this makes them pretty upset with Valhalla's whole management style.

On a cliff overlooking the sea, the lonely gorgon Cassiopeia has made her home among a garden of statues of her own making. Memories of friends, enemies, and lovers passed, immortalized in stone, many eternally screaming in agony. Whispers from the local villages warn not to enter her domain, but still, visitors keep coming, all to meet the same fate.

Cho'Gath

Citing nothing more than a blurry photograph, the locals in one isolated town insist on the existence of a large, predatory marine animal that grows in size every time it feeds. The reports are otherwise unsubstantiated, but the spike in tourism has been great for the local economy. Not the disappearances, though. Those are bad.
