Final City built its barricades high, protecting its citizens from countless Primordian threats. Rek'Sai laughs in the face of these obstructions—or at least mimics a laugh in the form of a loud, painful screech. Having evolved to tunnel beneath land, she is the ideal infiltrator, the first Primordian to lay eyes on Final City… but certainly not the last.

The Ice Witch lets none slumber; each fallen friend and foe in her domain rises anew to fight by her side. Her dark magic twists their appearance, creating glacial golems with hearts of black, unmelting ice.

Blackfrost Rek'Sai

When the Ice Witch looked to the great glaciers of True Ice towering over the far north, she saw an army in the making. Among the first to be sculpted was Rek'Sai, a vessel of chilling savagery befitting a queen's power. Now, granted sentience by the will of the Watchers, she terrorizes domains with the brutal instincts of an apex predator.

Deep within the Elderwood, ancient beings lie in wait, hidden from man. They protect the enchanted forest, punishing trespassers and inspiring tales across the land. However, as horrors of the outside world spread, the defenders struggle to maintain their strongholds against humanity's malicious curiosity.

In the beginning, the Old Gods reigned. So great was humankind's love for them that one dared to make them a part of her flesh forever. She devoured the sun itself and, descending from that empty heaven, inspired her knights to decimate all those that remained. Centuries later, they stand, the only hope against the rising Coven's darkness.

Elderwood Rek'Sai

Spore-fiends stalk the deepest reaches of the forest, and Rek'sai is the broodmother from which all others spring. Those who see her hulking form of bloom and bark swimming through the trees rarely live long enough to tell the tale.
