Graves is a salty ex-soldier who served in the Durandal military before he reluctantly became a professor. Following his discovery of something deep behind enemy lines, he received an offer to teach at the Academy from the God-Weapon itself. His hallmark cigar-munching, dispassionate teaching etiquette is a small price to pay for his decades of experience.

Though their numbers are few, the Sentinels of Light share a storied history. For years they've fought back the Harrowing, aided by ancient relic-stone weaponry that channels their very souls into a powerful light. But all that matters now is the battle ahead, as the Ruined King lays waste to Runeterra, all to dance with his queen once more.

The Black Mist gathers, the Harrowing comes, and the Ruined King has risen once more. Viego's corruption blankets Runeterra, turning friends into foes and bringing entire nations to their knees. The only ones with the power to stop him are the Sentinels of Light: an ancient order led by Senna and Lucian. They must call upon champions from every corner of the realm to fight back the Black Mist and end the Ruined King's reign of terror once and for all.
